Sunday morning. Early autumn, crisp colourful leaves. Hot coffee. Christchurch College, with its deep crimson leaves and staid sandstone – wandering clouds glinting softly in its many windows. Cows munching dewy grass nearby. Church bells ringing. Stone path crunching underfoot: our breath a shadowy vapour in front of us. Green – stone – oak wood – russet – water.
